ABOUT THE PASTOR

A Message From The Pastor

Greetings in the Beautiful name of Jesus!

We are so glad that you chose to visit our website today! In case you were wondering what a Pentecostal is….we trace our roots back to the book of Acts chapter 2 when the “day of Pentecost” became the Landmark day of the Supernatural outpouring of the Holy Ghost.

As you look through photos and use the website we genuinely hope that it will spark a desire in your heart to come and visit with us. We are excited about what God is doing in the lives of individuals in our church and know that God desires to do something great in your life as well!

Come and Experience Pentecost with us! Hope to see you in church soon!

Sincerly,

Kelly D Holland

Meet The Leadership

Hello, my name is Kelly Holland I was born September 29, 1980 in the state of MS to Mr and Mrs Clifton Holland of Leakesville, MS. I was raised in church since birth and baptized in March of 1985 at 4 years old. I received the Holy Ghost in Jan 1989 at the age of 8 and was very involved in my local church as a youth where I continued to live for God throughout my High School years.

I felt the Lord begin to deal with me about a call to preach at the age of 16. I did not run from that call but wanted to make sure that indeed God had called me. I continued to pray and seek the Lord until the age of 18 at which time I felt definite confirmation of that call. I preached my first Sermon at the request of my Pastor in August of 1999. With the call of God upon my life I enrolled in Bible College at Jackson College of Ministries as a Theology Major in The Fall of 1999. While attending college I worked on and off campus to pay my way through school. Also, in the summers between semesters, I worked in churches in both Arkansas and Mississippi. I obtained my BA in Theology with Honors in spring of 2002.

In August of 2002 I entered the evangelistic field full time. I have evangelized across the USA preaching in the states of IN OH MI PA WV VA IL MO MS TN AL GA FL SC OR WA OK LA TX AR. I met my wonderful wife during this time and we married Dec 1, 2007! God gave us a beautiful baby boy named Dakota Jan 28, 2009. We continued to evangelize full time until August of 2010 at which time we were asked to come and work full time with Christ Temple Pentecostal Church in Jena, LA as Assistant Pastor. We committed to a year in that church which we completed as agreed, at which time we felt to go back to the evangelistic field. We went back full time onto the road for a second stint of evangelizing which was what we were currently doing when we felt the leading of God to launch First Pentecostal church. On Feb 14, 2013, God added to our church in the form of another son named Garrett.

Sis Holland was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gilbreath July 22, 1985 in Conway, AR. She was baptized and received the Holy Ghost at age 9 in June of 1995. She was very involved in her local church as a youth working in the youth, music, and school departments. She took piano lessons from 7-10 years of age and then again from 13-18 during which time she played for the Children’s Choir, for church services, and the school band. She lived for God throughout school and Graduated from Cavalry Christian Academy in 2003, afterwards she enrolled in Pulaski Technical College to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene. She worked her way through her time at college to help pay her way through school up until August of 2007 when she met me. She then became a full time Preachers wife. She gave birth to our first son Dakota Jan 28 2009 and our Second Son Garrett Feb 14 2013 she has been a wonderful mother both of them. My wife has played a very active roll in my ministry, singing, and playing in our revivals across the country.

Bro Holland felt a desire to come to the city of Springfield many years ago. But little did he know that desire would come to fruition in the year 2012. After nearly 10 years of full time evangelism, the Hollands felt led to start First Pentecostal Church in Springfield. Dec 9 2012 would be our first service. We had 9 people in our first service. The church has grown over the last two years and for that we are thankful, but we know the Lord is not finished yet!
